I am a current student at the University of Michigan dual enrolled in the School of Music Theatre and Dance and the STAMPS School of Art and Design, with a focus on Costume Design, Garment Design and Editorial Styling. Iphis and Ianthe

Written and Directed by Miles Hionis, Rory Hunt, Maddie Vassalo

Iphis and Ianthe is a short film that places the Greek myth of the same name in a more contemporary framework. The film updates this story, questioning the idea that all transgender individuals seek surgery to alleviate their dysphoria. Instead, we discuss Iphis’s process of learning how to accept his body and becoming comfortable sharing himself with another human being.

Asking Alice

"Asking Alice" is an interdisciplinary dance performance that offers a fresh perspective on Lewis Carroll's beloved novels, "Alice in Wonderland" and "Alice Through the Looking Glass." In this reimagining, Alice straddles the line between human and artificial intelligence, causing her to question her own multifaceted identity as she becomes fully immersed in a dream-like reality of riddles and illusions.

OOTD: Outfit of The Die

In Outfit of the Die a cyborg individual is informed by her AI companion that electronic systems could crash, and consequently, she could die. Of course, our Cyborg is most concerned about what she’s going to wear when her system crashes. The piece utilizes motion tracking technology, and was an exploration into the intersections between projected image, costume and technology.

OOTD: Outfit of The Die
